Hordaphos MDGB is an effective corrosion inhibitor for acidic aqueous systems, e.g. for cleaners for the food processing industry. It is a clear, colorless to yellowish liquid with an ester-like odor. The product is not in all ratios clearly soluble in water.

Hordaphos MDGB is used for the corrosion inhibition of acids. Typical applications include acidic cleaners for ceramic, glass and metal surfaces in the domestic, industrial and commercial sector.
Water miscible cutting fluids are another field of application. Hordaphos MDGB is a highly active EP additive due to its low decomposition temperature.

Hordaphos MDGB is supplied in 75 kg net PE tight head drums (600 kg net pallets) and 1,350 kg net containers.
Storage
Hordaphos MDGB must be stored in tightly closed original containers away from frost, heat and direct sunlight.
Minimum shelf life is 12 months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
