PolyMax™ 172 is a hydrogen sulfide absorbent designed for purification of ethylene in polymer feedstock. The absorbent provides excellent ethylene purity, with hydrogen sulfide (H2S) content in the product stream typically below 0.05 ppm. As it is typically located upstream of polymerization catalysts, PolyMax 172 is essential for safeguarding downstream operations and reducing catalyst consumption.
