FLOTIGAM™ 5806 is a sustainable collector for the direct flotation of apatite and other industrial minerals, such as fluorspar, spodumene and calcite.
FLOTIGAM™ 5806 was initially developed for the flotation of low-grade igneous phosphate ores. FLOTIGAM™ 5806 can deliver high concentrate grades (above 35% P2O5) with low contents of silicate and carbonate impurities. Additionally, in commercial operations, FLOTIGAM™ 5806 required 10% lower dosages than alternative collectors previously used at the same mine. FLOTIGAM™ 5806 has also proven effective to beneficiate spodumene ores to achieve the Li2O battery grade of 6%.
