Celyscence™

Celyscence™ is an extract of the seedless milk thistle flower (Sylibum marianum) that prevents the accumulation of senescent cells (also called "zombie cells") in the skin thanks to three different activities:

1- Prevention of cellular senescence 

2- Senolytic effect: activation of the apoptosis process in senescent cells to eliminate them 

3- Senomorphic effect: turning back the phenotype of senescent cells into younger cells, thus preventing them from producing SASPs, some deleterious molecules that cause senescence in surrounding cells 

Thanks to this triple mode of action, Celyscence™ restores skin healthiness, which was demonstrated on clinical studies: on the chest, wrinkles are decrease and luminosity is increased, to help women feel more confident in their femininity. On the face, melanin content was reduced to increase skin brightness.

Celyscence™ received the BSB Innovation Awards 2021 (2nd prize) and the Ringier Technology Innovation Awards 2021.
