Emulsogen LA 033 is an emulsifier and wetting agent used in emulsion polymerization for the polymerization of vinyl acetate, acrylic and methacrylic acid esters, styrene, and other monomers. It provides particle size control and prevents the coagulation of polymer particles during the emulsion polymerization process. As an ammonium salt, it has a positive effect on the freeze-thaw stability of polymer dispersions and on hydrophobicity and wet scrub resistance of polymer films.
