FLOCTREAT 3956

FLOCTREAT 3956 is a cationic dispersion with a low to medium molecular weight, and is a water soluble acrylamide-based copolymer supplied as an oil free dispersion of polymer in water. It is effective over a pH range of 3 - 10 and does not contain any oil or surfactants. The polymer molecule contains both hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups. It is used to treat wastewater produced by a wide variety of oil industry operations by bridging between oil droplets and/or suspended solids to form a large, agglomerated mass or flocculant which can be easily removed. It can be utilized in liquid-solid separation processes such as settling, thickening, dissolved air flotation, and centrifugation, either alone or with an organic or inorganic coagulant.
