Zeolite Powders

HIGH PERFORMANCE ZEOLITE STRUCTURES

Clariant, one of the world’s largest producers of specialty zeolite powders, offers an extensive portfolio of zeolite products for chemical and environmental applications.

We also have the development and manufacturing capability for virtually any types of zeolite for specific customer requirements, including modifications to standard zeolites or new developments. Clariant’s standard zeolite powder portfolio primarily comprises:

  • AlPO Zeolites (AEL)

Zeoltypes are aluminosilicate and phosphorous containing crystals. Their unique structures consist of well-defined channels and pores. These channels make such materials excellent choice for a variety of applications in catalysis and adsorption depending upon needs. Our AlPO (AEL) zeolites are extensively used as process catalysts in fuel upgrading and dewaxing processes. The zeoltype structures are also suitable for adsorption purposes in active carbon replacement. Clariant’s standard zeolite powder with the AIPO structure type is CZA. more

  • Beta Zeolites (BEA)

Beta structured zeolites are widely used for automotive emission control, industrial off-gas purification, and reduction of VOC, NOx and N2O. As process catalysts, they are ideal for fuel upgrading, production of petrochemical intermediates, and processing chemicals. The zeolites are also suitable for adsorption purposes, such as odor removal and active carbon replacement. Clariant's standard zeolite powders with the Beta structure type are CZB 25 (BEA 25), CZB 30 (BEA 30), and CZB 150 (BEA 150). more

  • Chabazite Zeolites (CHA)

Our Chabazite (CHA) structured zeotypes are primarily used for automotive emission control, as well as in chemical processes such as conversion of methanol to olefins. The zeolites are also suitable for adsorption purposes, including hydrocarbon adsorption heat management, and active carbon replacement.Clariant’s innovative zeolite powder with the Chabazite structure type is CZC (TiAPSO-34). more

  • Erionite Zeolites (ERI)

Clariant’s innovative zeolite powder with the Erionite (ERI) structure type is CZE 7. more

  • Faujasite Zeolites (FAU)

Faujasite (FAU, LiLSX) zeolites are commonly used for emission control in industrial off-gas purification. As process catalysts, they are suitable for fuel upgrading and air liquefaction. The Faujasite structure is also ideal for adsorption in odor removal, active carbon replacement and hydrocarbon adsorption heat management.Clariant’s standard zeolite powder with the Faujasite (FAU, LiLSX) structure type is LiCZF 2. more

  • L Zeolites (LTL)

Our L (LTL) zeolite structures are typically used as process catalysts in applications such as fuel upgrading, and for the production of petrochemical intermediates. L zeolites are also suitable for adsorption purposes in active carbon replacement. Clariant’s standard zeolite powder with the L (LTL) structure type is CZL 6. more

  • Pentasil Zeolites (MFI)

Our Pentasil (MFI) zeolites are widely used for automotive emission control, industrial off-gas purification, and VOC, NOx and N2O reduction. As process catalysts, they are best suited for fuel upgrading, production of petrochemical intermediates and processing of chemicals. Pentasil zeolites are also ideal for adsorption in odor removal.Clariant's standard powders with Pentasil (MFI) structures are: CZP 27, CZP 30, CZP 90, CZP 200 and CZP 800. more

  • Mordenite Zeolites (MOR)

Mordenite (MOR) zeolites are widely used in emission control for industrial off-gas purification and VOC reduction. As process catalysts, these zeolites suit a variety of applications, such as fuel upgrading, production of petrochemical intermediates, processing of chemicals, and isomerization of alkanes and aromatics.Clariant's standard powders with Mordenite (MOR) structures are: NaCZM 16, CZM 20 and CZM 40. more

In addition, our customized products cover a wide variety of applications. Both product development and scale-up activities are done in close cooperation with our customers.

Clariant Zeolite powders are typically applied for:

  • Industrial off-gas purification
  • Automotive emission control
  • Odor removal (active carbon replacement)
  • Fuels upgrading
  • Production of petrochemical intermediates
  • Processing of chemicals and fine-chemicals
  • Heat management
