Clariant Healthcare Packaging Exhibiting at Mexican Trade Show

São Paulo, April 20, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, and its Healthcare Packaging unit, along with Watson Phillips, its master distributor for Mexico, is exhibiting at Expo Pack Mexico 2016. The Company is featuring its full range of solutions for protecting pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and diagnostic products from moisture and oxygen.

Expo Pack Mexico, a member of the PMMI family of shows, will take place May 17 – 20, and focuses on equipment, materials and services for packagers and processors.  Clariant will be on Stand #746 in the Expo Bancomer Santa Fe, Mexico City.

• Tubes & Stoppers… Clariant’s rigid tubes and desiccant stoppers make ideal packaging for diagnostic and glucose test strips, effervescent tablets, chewables, lozenges and similar products. Stoppers can be filled with silica gel or molecular sieve desiccant to provide the desired controlled package environment. Tubes can include 6-color printing and are conducive to point-of-sale merchandising.
• Oxygen Protection… Clariant offers a full system of oxygen protection for pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and probiotics, including humidity-neutral oxygen scavengers and Oxy-Guard® multi-layer barrier bottles in a variety of standard sizes.
