Beraca BBA
Beraca BBA is made from the oil of Pracaxi, an Amazonian tree with dark brown fruits that explode when ripe, releasing the seeds away from the tree, ensuring their dispersal for reproduction. The gathering of seed, alongside government social programs, offer an alternative to logging activities to protect the forest.
Clariant and Beraca work with local communities to provide collectors additional income, in addition to favoring the species conservation and allowing the maintenance of biodiversity in a region that is of great ecological importance.
Beraca BBA can be used both for hair and skin cares. On the hair, it is a natural conditioning agent that brings a silky feel for wet or dry hair, and increases hair shine and manageability. On the skin, it provides pro-aging benefits.
Product Information
In ex-vivo trials on skin explants, Beraca BBA reduced melanin content by 22% under photo-exposure. It also helped increasing hyaluronic acid and collagen production.
In clinical trial on hair care, Beraca BBA improved conditioning by 20%.
