Many liquid toiletry products still contain the basic SLES, Betaine systems that are thickened by salt. This system is extremely cost effective, but not necessarily the best for safe and effective cleansing of skin and hair. In contrast, our ultra-mild series of sugar surfactants offer gentle, yet effective cleansing properties. GlucoTain™ surfactants are mild to mucous membranes, skin proteins and skin lipids and are covering the spread from airy to creamy foam while providing a moisturized and conditioned after-feel.

FOAM MORPHOLOGY

The radar chart compares six different GlucoTain products across six attributes related to foam and skin conditioning:

Products and their colors:

Observations:
- All products score very high on Foam height and Foam volume, close to 100.
- Foam stability varies more, with most products scoring between 40 and 80.
- Average bubble size is generally low for all products, mostly below 40.
- Foam density shows a wide range, with GlucoTain Sense having the highest value.
- Skin conditioning after-feel varies, with GlucoTain Sense and GlucoTain Care scoring higher than others.

The data was measured using KRÜSS DFA100 at pH 6–7.
