Rootness™ Energize

Rootness™ Energize is an extract of the roots of Luffa cylindrica obtained thanks to the Plant Milking technology. This innovative production process allows to cultivate plants in aeroponic conditions, to get direct access to their roots, that can be stimulated to boost the production of rare and specific molecules. In addition, roots can be harvested several times a year on the same plant, making the process highly sustainable. 

Rootness™ Energize is rich in bryonolic acid, as the process allows to produce an extract that is 10 times more concentrated in this active molecule than what can be found in plant cultivated in the soil. It reactivates different steps of the process that lead to energy (ATP) and metabolites production in the cells: metabolic pathways (glycolysis, PPP pathway and TCA cycle), bioenergetic functions (mitochondrial respiration and ATP production), metabolites and proteins transport to useful location within the cell. This power boost relaunches skin matrix compounds synthesis and maturation: collagen IV and elastic fibers. As a consequence, the main drawback of energy-deprived skin is strongly improved, from skin elasticity to tonicity and firmness.
