Clariant Oil Services to Present at 2013 NACE CORROSION Conference and Exposition

  • Clariant Oil Services will exhibit, make two presentations and chair two technical sessions 

Houston, Texas (USA), March 7, 2013 – Clariant Oil Services today announced that it will exhibit and make two technical presentations at the upcoming 2013 NACE CORROSION Conference and Exposition, March 17-21, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. In addition to its role as a sponsor, exhibitor and presenter, Clariant Oil Services representatives will also chair two technical sessions throughout the five-day conference.

Clariant Oil Services will present on the following topics:

  • “A New Range of Environmentally Acceptable Corrosion Inhibitors for Sweet Service” – Presented by Adedamola Adelusi, KTP Associate - Integrity Group, during the Research in Progress (RIP) Chemical, Structural and Mechanical Effects on Surfaces session on Monday, March 18, from 4:55 pm to 5:20 pm, room S330B
  • “A Holistic Approach to Corrosion in Sour Water Injection” – Presented by Tom Swanson, Regional Manager – USA, during the sour corrosion technical session on Tuesday, March 19, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, room S220G 

In addition to these presentations, Dr. Nihal Obeyeskere, Global Integrity Manager, Clariant Oil Services, will chair two technical presentations. The first, on deepwater scale and corrosion, will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in room S220C. The second, on sour corrosion, will take place on Tuesday, March 19, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in room S220G. Clariant Oil Services will also exhibit its innovative corrosion solutions, including multi-functional products, from booth #623 in the exhibit hall.

The conference, hosted annually by NACE International, draws more than 6,000 delegates from industry, academia and government to discuss the latest corrosion control technologies and issues. It is the world’s largest corrosion expo.
