New Brochure on Flame Retardants Thermoplastics available

The Clariant brochure on flame retardants for thermoplastics has been completely revised and updated. It focusses on halogen free phosphinates (Exolit ® OP) for standard and high temperature polyamides and polyesters. Thermoplastic elastomers for cables – as an alternative to PVC - are another application area. Furthermore, Clariant offers intumescent formulations for polyolefins (polypropylene). As the cover picture implies, materials used in electric and electronic equipment are the main area of use, with environmental and health criteria for flame retardants further gaining importance.
