In this year's exhibition, we plan to showcase our new Vita range - 100% bio-based surfactants and PEGs. Vita products are based on renewable feedstocks and have at least 98% Renewable Carbon Index (RCI). Clariant uses 100% bio-ethanol derived from sugar cane or corn to create the ethylene oxide for its innovative new surfactants and PEGs. The bio-based material is fully segregated along the value chain from the field to the final consumer product. Because only bio-based feedstocks are used, the ingredients have significantly lower carbon footprints than their fossil-based counterparts. The Vita surfactants are CO₂ emissions savers: they can help save up to 85% of CO₂ emissions compared to their fossil analogues.

In addition to Vita, other innovative products showcased this year include EcoTain label products, JMAC, and PEG/PAGs. Our EcoTain products significantly exceed sustainability market standards, have best-in-class performance, and contribute overall to the sustainability efforts of the company and our customers. JMAC, our silver biocides series has antimicrobial properties that reduce the spread of bacteria and viruses over the long term and is suitable for both paint and coatings manufacturers and plastic polymer producers. Clariant also offers a wide range of PEG/PAG suitable for a wide range of industrial applications including paints and coatings, food packaging, and industrial lubricants.
