Clariant Grows in Poland

• Investment of CHF 11.3 million in new site
• Doubling the production capacity of color concentrates for masterbatches
• Creating new job opportunities in Łódź region, Poland

Muttenz, March 15, 2013 – Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, has broken the ground for its new investment in Konstantynów Łódźki, Poland. The new building covers an area about 6’800 square meters and will include new production site, laboratory and warehouse as well as Clariant offices. The investment, worth CHF 11.3 million, will enable Clariant to double the production capacity of color concentrates for its Business Unit Masterbatches and also to create new job opportunities.
