Through key global partnerships such as Together for Sustainability (TfS), the Science Based Targets Initiative, and the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, we help shape industry best practices and set ambitious sustainability benchmarks.
A strong example is our long-standing membership of Together for Sustainability. Since 2014, Clariant has leveraged the TfS framework—including EcoVadis supplier assessments and on-site audits—to improve transparency, reduce procurement risks, and strengthen performance across chemical supply chains.

Working with our suppliers: transparency in our supply chains
We expect our suppliers to uphold ethical, responsible business practices, including respect for human rights, fair labor, environmental stewardship, and zero tolerance for corruption. These principles are laid out in our Supplier Code of Ethics, which is binding for all our suppliers and contractors globally.

Our Human Rights Policy reinforces our zero tolerance for child labor, forced labor, and discrimination. We promote freedom of association, safe working conditions, and fair treatment throughout our value chains. These values are supported by our Code of Ethics and the Clariant Integrity Line, which offer clear standards and accessible channels for reporting concerns.
