Our waxes for masterbatches
WAX THE CUTTING EDGES OF YOUR CONCENTRATES
Performance-boosting dispersants and wetting aids
FOR LOW FILTER PRESSURE VALUES AND HIGH COLOR YIELDS
Clariant offers a complete range of diverse types of dispersing and wetting agents for producing color and additive masterbatches.
By enabling stable pigment dispersions without agglomerations, our micronized Ceridust® waxes help to ensure optimal coloring of plastic parts. Our innovative Licocene® grades are both excellent dispersion aids and carriers, permitting higher pigment and additive loadings, lower processing temperatures and reduced shear. This makes them particularly useful for incorporating delicate organic pigments and special effect pigments, such as pearlescents or metallic flakes.

TO IMPROVE PLASTICS
With our Licocene® performance polymers and waxes for plastics and other applications, we offer innovative and sustainable solutions that are ready for the future.
Special grades for upgrading the color appeal and sustainability of packaging
Whether in consumer care or other segments, the packaging of products has a decisive impact on their shelf appeal and success.
With our Licocene® grades as well as solutions like Licowax® PE 520, Ceridust® 3620 or Ceridust® 6050 M, we help products to stand out from the rest. Our additives allow excellent coloration of plastics packaging, such as caps and closures of detergents or personal care bottles, at favorable economics. For sustainable packaging based on biopolymers, we offer highly suitable additives derived from renewable feedstock, such as Licocare® RBW Vita.

Three good reasons for choosing Clariant
KEY BENEFITS OF OUR WAX SOLUTIONS
1.Enable enhanced performance due to better separation and coating of pigments, improving dispersion and leading to higher color strength
2.Enable higher operational efficiency due to improved dispersion and wetting, reducing the risk of re-agglomeration and minimizing screen blockage
3.Enable lower formulation costs due to lower amounts of pigment needed, reducing the expenses for this major component of color concentrates
