Chinese High Paraffinic Gas Oil

Depending on the type of crude oil processed n-paraffin contents of gas oil fractions can reach very high levels that can make cold flow treatment difficult.

A Chinese customer had a diesel containing 31% n-paraffins distributed mainly between 10 and 22 carbon-chain length. They asked Clariant to lower the CFPP by 10°C. DODIFLOW® 3905-2 fulfilled the customer’s specification requirement for this difficult-to-treat fuel.
