Principles and certifications

Clariant’s quality, environmental and safety management is globally certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment System), and also increasingly based on the ISO 50001 standard for energy management, thus guaranteeing its customers internationally established standards for the quality of products, business processes, safety and environmental protection. The certificate covers the entire Group and supersedes the previous local certifications. An appendix defines the precise scope of application.

This global certificate is important for our own organization as well as for many of our business partners. It requires a highly standardized and transparent management system. For this certificate, the Clariant Sustainability Policy covers the main aspects of our policy on quality, environment, health and safety.
